Insight into the Human Mind
Question: Why is there reincarnation?
Answer: It allows each one of us to have many different experiences and understand life from various points of view. Imagine if you were born only once as a man, you would only see life from a man’s point of view. This would limit your intelligence because you would have a very narrow view of existence according to your particular belief system. Now let’s have consciousness born into many different bodies; let it live in various countries and explore being different genders and expose consciousness to many different cultures; this would help consciousness to learn and appreciate life from many viewpoints. As the result, you would become a more intelligent, loving, compassionate and wiser being by having gone through all these different experiences.

The James Leininger Case
Nearly six decades ago, a 21-year-old Navy fighter pilot on a mission over the Pacific was shot down by Japanese artillery. His name might have been forgotten, were it not for 6-year-old James Leininger. Quite a few people — including those who knew the fighter pilot — think James is the pilot, reincarnated. James' parents, Andrea and Bruce, a highly educated, modern couple, say they are "probably the people least likely to have a scenario like this pop up in their lives." But over time, they have become convinced their little son has had a former life.

Stories of Reincarnation Past Lives - Discovery Channel
What happens to us after death? Can you go back? Two-thirds of the world, people from different religions, believe you can. But modern science persists in rejecting this idea. Is there scientific evidence about past lives? The answer may lie in a group of children that scientists from different fields of knowledge have been studying. These children, when very young, have extremely vivid memories of deaths prior to the lives they lead today. They provided details about amazing people whom they have never met, places and facts that have not been seen, at least not in this life. In "Past Lives: Stories of Reincarnation," you will witness the work of researchers in this fascinating subject in search of evidence about the existence of reincarnation.

Reincarnation Case of Artist Paul and Mette Gauguin
Peter Teekamp's story begins in his childhood years, when the words "Go-Gone, Go-Gone," kept popping into his mind. It took several decades before Peter associated these words with the artist Paul Gauguin and even longer for him to accept that he is the reincarnation of Gauguin. Peter's facial features and personality traits are consistent with Gauguin's. Further, Peter can paint in a style highly reminiscent of Gauguin and indeed, certain pieces are virtually indistinguishable from Gauguin's. What is truly amazing is that analysis of sketches has demonstrated that Peter unconsciously replicated the artistic development of Gauguin, then went beyond it. Peter's style has evolved into one that is more realistic and surrealistic. As Peter’s reincarnation case is presented, images are provided which compare works by Gauguin with paintings done by Peter Teekamp, inspired by Gauguin. (Watch)

On the way all three were struck by a car, tossed into the air, and killed immediately. (Watch)

Bruce Kelly
Bruce Kelly claims that he is the reincarnation of a Navy submariner named James Edward Johnston, who died on the USS Shark. Kelly later met with Johnston's family and is almost certain that he is the reincarnated Johnston. In hypnosis, Kelly has a clear and vivid recall of a past life as James. Past life regressionists rarely have the opportunity to research data presented by a client, but James Johnston lived so recently that many of the memories recalled by Bruce Kelly have been authenticated.
