Insight into the Human Mind
Why should we take up mindfulness meditation?
Unfortunately, our mind experiences stress and produces negative emotions, which can cause us to have inner conflict within ourselves and outer conflict with others. A stressful mind can also cause us to have illness by creating a state of imbalance in our physical body.
The real solution to this problem requires us to understand how consciousness works. Mindfulness meditation can help by becoming more aware of what’s going on within our consciousness; knowing how to relax the mind and let go of negative emotions; and in the process we get to discover the root cause of our negative thinking patterns. As we practice meditation and become more knowledgeable of how the mind functions, the quality of our consciousness will begin to change where we can experience a state of balance such as having inner peace, joy, contentment, unconditional love, true happiness, inspiration, creativity, appreciation, gratitude, mental clarity, insight and wisdom.
This practice gives us the ability to expand our consciousness and improve our intelligence in a non-limited manner. As long as we don’t put limitation on ourselves, there is no limit to what our mind can do.
We encourage everyone to become enlightened and start this process with a simple meditation practice to free ourselves from stress and discover our true potential by signing up for the Mind Expansion Course.

Meditation - BBC Health Documentary Series
Kathy Sykes, a Bristol University professor, has long known that if she does not find at least 30 minutes a day in her frantically overcrowded schedule to lie down and listen to music, she is grumpier, more tired and less able to concentrate.
What Professor Sykes, who holds the chair in the Public Engagement of Science and Engineering at Bristol, did not realise until recently is that she was, in effect, practising a fairly crude form of meditation. She also didn't know that there was growing evidence to show that this ancient practice can make people healthier and happier. It may even increase life span, alter brain structure and change personality.
